Our Work

HOPE Ministries exists to bring Christ-centered Hope to communities affected by illegal gold mining through church planting and community development.

The vision of HOPE Ministries is to see a people redeemed, reconciled and transformed by the gospel as they impact their communities for the sake of the gospel.

The HOPE difference is the use of local resources to offer the whole gospel to the whole of a person.

church planting

HOPE Ministries seeks to proclaim Christ by planting churches and proclaiming the Gospel in local languages.  We plan to provide biblical training for core team members who will be leading the church plants. Water is life. And Jesus is life. When Jesus is proclaimed to the people of Assin Fosu, those who come to Jesus shall receive the true living water.

In addition to providing spiritual hope, HOPE Ministries plans to provide access to fresh clean water as well as regular medical screenings in collaboration with local doctors and nurses.

Vocational Training

HOPE Ministries will address the spiritual condition of the people, their physical needs, as well as their practical needs with regard to employment.  The illegal gold mining menace has a lot to do with unemployment. Reducing the unemployment rates will greatly reduce the poverty levels in this community.  A vocational skills training center/ entrepreneurship training center will be necessary to adequately equip unemployed workers.  The vocational skills offered will be tailored to specific needs in the community and skills that are in high demand.  Local instructors from Assin Fosu will organically maximize the community involvement and investment.
